Every contract is scored 1–10: 5 is fair market value, 10 is an elite player on a steal of a deal, 1 is a costly overpay. Scores come from comparing each player's current salary to a predicted market salary, modeled from a skill blend of RAPM, LEBRON, and BPM, then adjusted for games played and minutes so injury-shortened seasons don't unfairly tank a score. Team scores roll up the best 10 contracts on each roster; future scores layer in age, availability, and the presence of a young franchise piece to estimate where a roster is trending, not just where it sits today.
