Point Guard (PG)

Also called “the 1Position 1 of 5

The Point Guard (PG) in Basketball is the player primarily responsible for team offense, running the show as the main ball handler and playmaker while usually also scoring. In traditional basketball, the point guard is often a team's shorter player and takes shots mostly outside the paint, although this is changing with the rise of positionless basketball.
