Shooting Guard (SG)

The Shooting Guard (SG) in Basketball is the player who spends most of the offense scoring points, shooting off the dribble, spotting up from three, or attacking closeouts. Shooting guards are one of the team's better scorers, expected to space the floor and knock down open jump shots at a high rate.
